Rules Obeyed in PUCIT

You are responsible
Attendance
You are expected to attend all classes. If you miss a class, you are responsible for getting the notes and any verbal information given during class from a fellow classmate. The slides provided online are not a substitute for attending class. Attendance corrections are possible after two days of attaendance, so be careful about this.
Be On Time.
Class begins at the scheduled time. Being late is disruptive to the class so please avoid this. On lab days, instructions are given out at the beginning of lab; So it is better to be on time in Lab and class as well. Habitual lateness will not be tolerated, and most likely you will be marked as absent.
E-mail
If you use e-mail for communication then it should be in an appropriate and mature manner.
In order to facilitate communication, please observe the following rules.
  • Make sure that the e-mail's subject line clearly identifies its content (i.e. mention IT-300)
  • Use your real name. I get a lot of junk e-mail (spam). So, e-mail from unidentifiable source gets deleted without being read.
  • Write your message in the e-mail's text box. Do not include it as an attachment.
  • Give your name and your registration number in the email.
Etiquette of Classroom and Lab
As a student in this course, you should be courteous and respectful of your fellow classmates, as well as your Instructor. The following behavior is considered unacceptable:

Your Assignment/Project Must Be Yours

A second incident will result in a two times negitive grade for that assignment and so on.
Any act of dishonesty and disrespect will not be tolerated might be reported to the College Council for further action.
Submission in time
