Unconventional Computing.

Computing is such a process which includes Designing, developing and building computer Hardware and Software, processing , storage, calculating and problem solving processes are done by computer.

Unconventional computing is such a type of computing which deals with the study of problem solving by the use unusual methods or called Alternative Computing.

Types of unconventional computing:

  • natural computing.
  • WET-ware computing.
  • quantum computing.
  •  DNA computing.
  • molecular computing.
  • amorphous computing.
  • Nano computing.

Chemical computing:













Chemical computing is also called as reaction diffusion computing. It is an unconventional computing in which data is represented or calculated on the basis of variation in the concentration of  chemicals. it is also called BZ computer (stands for Belousov–Zhabotinsky computer) or gooware computer.
it works on the basis of naturally occurring chemical reactions.it is still in its early experimental stage but it will bring a revolutionary change in the Industry of computer.



Advantages of chemical computing:

  • use of computers in Medical field.
  • computing devices use in Automobile.
  • quantum computers.
  • organic computing.
  • mechanical computing.

The simplicity of this technology is the most basic reason for which it will be a best competitor in future with a solid state hardware computer.
A microprocessor is a very sensitive part of a computer hardware which can be easily breakable with the disturbance of micro-bits.
In a small micro processor bits of information can travel in a specific path just like cars are moving in city traffic and they have to obey traffic rules and regulations . one have to wait until the second one crosses the road and they also have to wait until one bit completely cover its path.
they can never cross each other and can never move successively.
But in chemical computing devices data and information will travel in the form of waves and we are well aware of this that waves are dimension less particles which can travel in every imaginable
directions. So with this change in transferring information the speed of computers will become several times more than now a days computers.
